The Comedy Barn Theater Wins Best Comedy in Pigeon Forge
We’re excited to announce that The Comedy Barn Theater was voted Best Comedy in Pigeon Forge in this year’s Best of Pigeon Forge contest! This contest recognizes the best of the best in the Smoky Mountain area, and we’re honored to have won. Best Comedy in Pigeon Forge
Comedy is what we do best at our theater! Our show was voted the Best Comedy in Pigeon Forge. This category was introduced in 2024, so we’re honored to be the first to ever win it! According to the Best of Pigeon Forge website, the criteria for the Comedy category are as follows:
“An attraction in the Smoky Mountains area that offers entertainment primarily consisting of live comedic performances. The attraction must offer a bookable comedic service a minimum of four days a week for ten months out of the year.”
Our show loves providing guests with endless laughter every show, and we’re happy we’ve been able to put a smile on so many people’s faces throughout the years!
About the Best of Pigeon Forge
The Best of Pigeon Forge is the most highly anticipated contest of the summer! Each year, this contest celebrates the best businesses in the Smoky Mountains. Locals and visitors alike are able to take the time to show their support for their favorite businesses and recognize and honor them in a variety of categories. It starts with a nomination period each May that runs for two weeks and gives visitors a chance to nominate businesses in the area. Only businesses that are nominated will show in their respective categories during the contest. The voting period begins in June and runs for two months, giving people the chance to cast their votes for their top choices in each category. Then, the winners are announced in August! The list of winners highlights the businesses that have made an impact on both visitors and locals.

This award means more to us because it’s voted on by our visitors and those who truly love The Comedy Barn! When we first opened, our mission was to create a clean comedy show that appeals to all ages, and we still make it our mission to provide an entertaining and hilarious experience for each and every guest who steps foot in our theater. Kids, teens, parents, and grandparents all love our Pigeon Forge show! In fact, we’ve seen generations of guests sit in our theater — people visit with their children, then return years later with their grandchildren.
Part of what makes our comedy show so popular is our variety of entertainment. Instead of a simple show with comedians telling jokes on stage, The Comedy Barn has jugglers, ventriloquists, singers, dancers, comedians, and even adorable animals! Each of our performers specializes in making you laugh, guaranteeing at least one laugh every minute. Guests also love the opportunities to get involved! We incorporate audience participation in every show, meaning no two shows are exactly the same, and our comedians get to put their improvisation skills to the test! Our main show is a hit with everyone who visits, but we also offer a holiday show that is sure to get you in the Christmas spirit. Guests love our Christmas show in Pigeon Forge! Featuring Christmas music, Christmas costumes, and special Christmas acts you won’t see anywhere else, our theater is home to the funniest Christmas show in the Smokies. Whether you visit during the regular season or the holidays, one thing’s for sure: you’re getting to witness the best comedy in Pigeon Forge!
